Hi, there! I’m Tasha. I’m an event stylist with a passion for the clever, unexpected details…. the kind that create moments, and moments lead to memories.

There was a period of time in my life that can best be referred to as wifeing and moming. My husband and our family serve as ground zero for inspiring anything I do. I love being a mom to girls. Though, umm, challenging at times, my daughters are spirited souls, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

While raising my first born, who is now in college, my littlest one, who is now in kindergarten, I happily jumped at the chance to play hostess at what felt like zillions of kid’s parties, baby showers, and bachelorette parties during that time.

I’ve always been super excited about personalized party themes with creative twists to tailor them to the occasion being celebrated. Over time, my personal touch has included candy styling, going way beyond the predictable sugar drops in a jar. I did all of this as a working mom, giving flight to the goals of many in my corporate America endeavors.

And then something interesting happened… I started getting lots of questions from party guests that wanted to know where to buy things, my DIY tips, where to get ideas for themes, etc… After answering the same questions over and over again, I started thinking about how nice it would be to be a professional party stylist and specialize in bringing people joy… and thus, the idea for The Little Kid In Me was born!

Luckily, I happened to have experience in corporate project management, working under pressure, prioritizing, and building relationships. Not to mention a tech-saavy husband. So…. After taking a leap of faith and pursuing some of the doors that opened along the way, this blog and my company The Little Kid In Me a full-service party styling experience became more than a dream, it’s a reality!

Life is full of challenges. And let’s face it, can be incredibly complicated. Spending my time capturing childlike joy for people is like handing out rainbows. You get a rainbow! You get a rainbow! And you get a rainbow!
